Creates an annual property parcel tax for Muni from July 1, 2027, through June 30, 2042, adjusted for inflation. Rates vary with property type and size, with exemptions and senior discounts; estimated revenue is $177 million annually.
A yes vote means
Approve the 15-year tax dedicated to Muni and its administration. Initial base rates include $129 for single-family parcels, $249 for multifamily parcels, and $799 for nonresidential or mixed-use parcels, plus applicable size-based charges.
A no vote means
Do not create this parcel tax; Muni would continue relying on its other funding sources.
Requires a simple majority of votes cast on the measure to pass.
